Mary Neil Price is a seasoned banking attorney with over three decades of expertise. She brings experience in mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial law, and corporate governance. With a robust background in the financial sector, her background provides clients with unique insight into regulatory frameworks and intricate transactional matters, having represented large money-center institutions as well as community banks. Throughout her career, Price has navigated complex mergers and acquisitions, facilitated equity and debt transactions, ensured regulatory compliance, and provided legal counsel in various corporate settings, including as in-house general counsel and corporate secretary for a regional multi-bank holding company.
A graduate of Tulane University’s Law School and Newcomb College, Price’s expertise has earned her recognition such as the Nashville Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” and “Power Leader in Finance.”
Over the years, Price’s community involvement has included legal representation of the Nashville Symphony, the Nashville Ballet, TPAC, the local chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and Cumberland Heights. She currently supports various charitable organizations and initiatives including the Nashville Repertory Theatre, Continuing the Good Foundation, and the Central Caribbean Marine Institute. Through Volunteer Lawyers & Professionals for the Arts, she has assisted newly-formed associations such as the Hello in There Foundation (organized by the late John Prine’s family), the Nashville Industry Fund, and Number: Inc, an independent arts journal of the South. Price is actively involved with the Tennessee Bankers Association and is serving her third term as president of the Brienz Valley Homeowners Association in Williamson County. She has served on the boards of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Pathway Lending, a community development financial institution.
